Budd Hopkins remains as one of the most influential and important American Artists of our time.

Budd was born on June 15 1931, in Wheeling West Virginia. He studied at Oberlin College and graduated in 1953. He has lived in New Your City since that time and currently maintains a summer studio on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

Budd has exhibited widely since 1955. In 1976 he was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship for painting. Budd's work can be seen at many private and public collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, San Francisco Museum of Art, The Guggenheim Museum and many others.
